Out of all writing services we’ve tried (and there were many), this one was the biggest surprise. We’re not saying that with a positive connotation, unfortunately.
At first m it all looked well. The website is cool, and there are tons of testimonials featured there. We searched for other online reviews, and we realized that the reputation on Sitejabber was not that bad. But we realized one thing: the reviews were either too positive, or incredibly negative. Two extremes.
So what gives?
As always, we realized that the only way to write a great review was to try the service first. We ordered an unusual project from SameDayEssay, so that we could test the capacity of its writers and the convenience of service. The results were unexpected. There are all kinds of papers that you can order. From narrative essays to kids essays to technology papers, the list of services covers it all. The website is very resourceful, so you’ll find a brief article on each type of paper. Just scroll all the way to the bottom of the homepage and you’ll see the list of posts.
That’s the first impression. When you want to see the content on those pages, the site takes you to something completely irrelevant. When you click kids essay, for example, you’re taken to a page that tells you nothing about it. All links at the bottom of the page take you to that same page. The website is designed to trick the search engine, but it’s not design to suit the needs of an actual user.
Anyway, the list of services includes essay, dissertation chapters, admission essay, research proposals, and so on. Paraphrasing is also part of the offer.
Pricing, Discounts & Payment Policy
The longest deadline is 20 days, and the lowest quality level is High School. When you combine those two parameters, you get the lowest price for an essay, which is $11.87 per page. It’s an affordable price. But, the quotes move with rapid progression along the chart. For a PhD-level paper with a deadline of 3 hours, you’ll pay a much higher price of $44.95 per page.
Wanna hear a strange thing? The prices for paraphrasing/rewriting are the same. They range between $11.97 and $44.63 per page. Rewriting – that means spinning online content with the intention to go undetected through plagiarism detection software. It’s using someone else’s work as your own, without referencing the source. In fact, it’s plagiarism. And they charge a crazy price for it.
As for the discounts, you get 15% off as a new user. Then, you’ll start receiving bonuses with each order. You’ll be able to use the bonuses from your balance to reduce the price of future orders.
Quality Evaluation
We can’t deliver our honest opinion about SameDayEssay without placing an order. Since the website is called Same Day Essay, we decided to go for a very short deadline – 12 hours for an essay of three pages. It’s a reasonable deadline that a professional writer shouldn’t have a problem with. We wanted an argumentative essay related to Don Quixote. We didn’t want a book review, but an argumentative essay on any theme from the book.
We made that very clear.
Do you know what we got? A book review. We immediately went to Goodreads and realized that it was paraphrased from the most popular reviews there. The writer did not bother to deliver unique content. We didn’t order paraphrasing. We wanted content written from scratch. The result was a complete failure. We asked for revisions and they just didn’t respond.
Customer Support
The customer support representatives left us hanging. When we complained about the lack of quality and relevance of our paper, they did not respond. We waited for an entire week and we constantly buzzed them with messages. Then, we realized that revisions weren’t going to happen.
We can’t give a high evaluation grade for SameDayEssay. It’s expensive. The team doesn’t follow instructions. They deliver low-quality work that’s not unique. They didn’t cover the revisions. Everything went wrong with this service.
