“Your high-quality paper from $7.97” sounds like an offer we can’t refuse. Affordable-Papers.net is all about affordability, but does the team deliver quality? That’s what most students wonder, and we were intrigued, too.
We immediately checked the price chart and we were surprised. Sure; simple essays and other types of content are affordable. But they charge triple the price for admission papers, which are nothing but personal essays. We don’t like services taking advantage of students in a vulnerable position. When they are about to start sending college applications, writing services try to convince them to pay more.
Don’t fall for that trick!
Anyway, we ordered an affordable paper here to check the quality and overall experience. We’ll share our impressions in the review that follows.
List of Services
In the price chart, you’ll see four categories of services being offered: writing from scratch, editing/proofreading, multiple choice questions, and problem solving. The order form gives you all options you have for writing from scratch. You’re able to order an essay, research paper, case study, dissertation proposal, and much more.
Affordable Papers also include business writing services in their offer.
What we didn’t like is the fact that they also offer rewriting. It starts with a price of $7.97, which is the same one given for writing from scratch. Something is shady here. We assumed they delivered rewritten content even if you order writing from scratch. Once again, our intuition was on the right track.
Pricing, Discounts & Payment Policy
Writing from scratch starts from only $7.97 for Undergraduate level with a deadline of 14 days. In fact, this service doesn’t offer writing from scratch. They only offer rewriting services, which are still based on plagiarizing practices. We don’t recommend students to get such content, since professors can see right through it. They are well-trained in their areas of study. They’ve read all the resources you can think of. These writers choose the most obvious online sources to copy, so you can’t expect your teacher not to recognize them.
Let’s go back to the prices: they range up to $45 per page for Professional level with a deadline of 3 hours. You get 7% off if you use a discount code on your first order.
But admissions papers are very expensive. The price goes up to $157 per page for the shortest deadline. That’s ridiculous.
We got several Affordable Papers reviews complaining about the quality. Students wrote to us with a requirement to warn others about this service. Before doing that, we ordered our own essay to see if the service would live up to its bad reputation. Oh; it did!
The essay lacked uniqueness, fluidity, and logic. We immediately found the online sources that the writer used for paraphrasing (hint: Copyscape found them). They just combined sentences from three different sources without bothering about the flow. There wasn’t even a thesis statement in the paper.
Bad services usually don’t bother with revisions. This one proved that rule to be true. AffordablePapers mentions “Revision option” and “Money back guarantee” on the site, but there’s no such thing in reality.
We hoped the customer support would solve our issue with revisions. We saw that the terms and conditions guaranteed three free revisions for customers who weren’t happy with the service. But we only got one and the writer still didn’t get rid of the plagiarism. He improved the logical flow a bit, but it was nowhere near satisfactory.
We complained again. This was the moment when the support started ignoring us. We tried the live chat and sent emails. Nothing worked.
